What is your MOQ for an OEM E-bike battery program?
Typical MOQ is 100–500 pcs for standard catalog platforms (KT-E09, KT-E57, KT-E60, KT-S01, etc.) and 1,000+ pcs for projects that require new tooling. Sample orders welcome from 1 pc; sample fees are credited back against your first production order.
Who owns the IP for custom BMS firmware and enclosure designs?
You do. Anything we develop against your spec (custom BMS firmware, proprietary display protocol, custom enclosure tooling) is yours under NDA, with a written design-ownership clause in our supply agreement. We do not reuse client-specific firmware or tooling for other accounts.
Are sample fees and certifications included in the unit price?
Standard certifications (CE, UN38.3, IEC62133, RoHS, MSDS) are included in the unit price on production orders, with no hidden cert fees. Optional certifications (UL2271, UL2849, FCC, RCM, KC) are quoted per-project and timelines added to the production schedule. Sample fees apply to prototypes and are credited against your first production PO. Fully custom projects (new enclosure tooling, bespoke BMS firmware) may carry a separate NRE fee, quoted before work starts.
What are your standard payment terms?
For first orders: 30% T/T deposit on PO confirmation, 70% balance against B/L copy or before shipment. Returning OEM clients typically transition to 30/70 against documents or open-account terms after 12 months. L/C at sight available for orders above USD 100K. We work with Sinosure on credit-insured terms for qualified buyers.
How fast can I receive a sample for evaluation?
Standard catalog platforms: 5–10 working days from spec confirmation. Custom firmware (proprietary display protocol matching): add 1–2 weeks for firmware development and bench testing. New enclosure tooling: 4–6 weeks for tooling + sample. Lead times confirmed in writing on PO.
What warranty do you offer on production packs?
Production packs carry a 12-month standard warranty against manufacturing defects, extendable to 24 months for OEM programs with an agreed cycle-life specification in the supply agreement. Warranty claims are handled by the engineering team that built your pack — not a ticket queue — with root-cause analysis reports on any field failure. Consumable wear (capacity fade within published cycle-life specs) is documented in the datasheet rather than warranted against.
Which Incoterms and shipping arrangements do you support?
EXW Huizhou and FOB Shenzhen/Guangzhou are standard; CIF and DDP quotes are available for major EU, US, and UK destinations. Lithium packs ship as Class 9 dangerous goods — we prepare the UN38.3 test summary, MSDS, and carton labeling either way, and for DDP we manage the DG freight forwarder, customs clearance, and duties so the packs arrive at your door with compliance paperwork in hand.
