KT-E60 — Dual-Voltage Integrated-Frame Platform
The same 425mm enclosure builds 48V or 52V, at 23Ah on 18650 cells or 30Ah on 21700 — one frame cavity, four configurations.

Cell Brands
The KT-E60 is the platform most integrated-frame programmes settle on, because one enclosure and one frame cavity cover four electrical configurations. The 425mm pack body and 465.5mm down-tube channel do not change between 48V and 52V, or between 18650 and 21700 — which means a brand can launch on 48V, add a 52V variant for a different market, and switch cell format when supply or cost moves, without a second frame tool.
The four builds are: 117 cells in 13S9P for 48V 23Ah, 126 cells in 14S9P for 52V 23Ah, 78 cells in 13S6P for 48V 30Ah, and 84 cells in 14S6P for 52V 30Ah. Read those as two decisions rather than four options. Series count picks the voltage platform; cell format picks the capacity tier.
Where the KT-E60 sits against its neighbours
Against the KT-E57, the KT-E60 needs about 60mm more frame channel — 465.5mm against 405.4mm — and returns 23Ah to 30Ah instead of 15.6Ah to 20Ah. Against the KT-E60-PRO, the pack body length is identical at 425mm; the PRO is taller, and that height is what takes it to 40Ah. So the choice between KT-E60 and KT-E60-PRO is a down-tube depth question, not a length question, and it is usually decided by the frame designer rather than by the battery specification.
Current rating and BMS sizing
All four builds are 8P-class arrangements, so 40A, 60A and 80A continuous are all available — unlike the KT-E57, where the 6P build is limited to 40A. This is the platform to specify when the bike carries load: cargo and mid-drive systems draw sustained current that a low-parallel pack cannot supply without sagging. Enclosure sealing is IP67 with UL94 V-0 housing material, and the UN 38.3 report and CE Declaration of Conformity are issued per configuration — a 52V 14S9P build does not ship on the 48V pack’s paperwork.

Frequently Asked Questions
Can one frame design ship in both 48V and 52V?
Yes — that is the point of this platform. The enclosure, the 425mm body and the 465.5mm channel are identical across all four configurations. Only the series count changes (13S for 48V, 14S for 52V), so a single frame tool serves both markets.
Why does 21700 give 30Ah at both 48V and 52V, but 18650 gives 23Ah at both?
Because capacity is set by the parallel count and the cell, not by the series count. Series count sets voltage. The 21700 builds run 6P in either voltage, so both land at 30Ah; the 18650 builds run 9P in either voltage and both land at 23Ah.
How much extra energy does 52V actually buy?
At the same amp-hours, 52V carries roughly 8% more watt-hours than 48V — 23Ah moves from about 1,104Wh to 1,196Wh. Whether that is worth a separate SKU depends on your motor system; the [48V vs 52V guide](/blog/48v-vs-52v-ebike-battery/) works through it.
