The 48V system is the global standard for performance ebikes: the right balance of power output, motor compatibility, regulatory compliance, and supply chain depth. Our 48V lineup covers every form factor in active production: slim down-tube packs for integrated frames, rear-rack packs for cargo and commuter bikes, shark-style packs for retrofit kits, and semi-integrated solutions for mid-drive systems.

All configurations use Tier-1 cells sourced from Samsung SDI, LG Energy Solution, Panasonic, or CATL, binned within ±2% capacity variation per cell group. Our in-house 13S BMS is tuned for 48V duty: active cell balancing, configurable over-discharge cutoff (40V–44V), peak current handling up to 80A, and optional UART/CAN communication for display integration.

We ship 48V packs to 30+ countries. UN38.3 transport documentation is included, covering both air freight (IATA PI 965/966) and sea/road. The CE Declaration of Conformity covers the EMC Directive and RoHS for EU market access. IEC62133-2 test reports are available for markets that require portable battery safety certification, and our quality control program documents every inspection and test stage behind those certificates.

Which 48V platform fits your frame

Five enclosure platforms carry the 48V range, and the choice is made on geometry before it is made on capacity:

If the battery is meant to disappear into the frame, start with the integrated models and work from the down-tube cavity you can actually draw. If it hangs off the tube, the rail pattern decides between the two KT-E09 variants and nothing else does.

Parallel count sets current, not just capacity

The catalog runs from 13S4P to 13S11P, which is why capacity spans 15.6Ah to 40Ah and energy spans 749Wh to 1920Wh. What is less obvious to buyers comparing spec sheets is that the parallel count also sets the current the pack can sustain. The published 20A continuous / 40A peak figure is cell-dependent: each additional parallel group adds capacity and current headroom together, because the load divides across more cells.

This is also why the BMS is quoted separately at 50A and 80A continuous options. The BMS is not the limiting element on a low-P build — the cell group is. Ordering an 80A BMS on a 13S4P pack buys nothing; the same 80A BMS on a high-P configuration is what makes sustained high-current duty possible. Tell us the continuous and peak current your controller actually draws and we will size the parallel count and the BMS together rather than quoting the largest of each.

Enclosure, sealing, and connector selection

Four form factors are in active production: slim down-tube packs for integrated frames, rear-rack packs, shark-style packs for retrofit kits, and semi-integrated packs for mid-drive systems. Enclosure choice usually follows the frame, but sealing should follow the duty cycle. IP55 is standard and is appropriate for consumer bikes stored indoors. IP65 is the option to specify for delivery fleets, rental operations, and cargo bikes, where packs stay mounted outdoors through weather and get washed down.

Connectors are the other decision worth making early, because changing them after sample approval means new harness tooling. We build to XT60, Anderson, Higo Z910, Julet 3-pin, or a custom pinout, and optional UART/CAN communication is available where your display needs state-of-charge and diagnostics rather than a simple voltage reading. We manufacture to custom dimensions. Common frame tubes are 80mm×120mm, 100mm×130mm, and 90mm×280mm. Provide your frame drawings and we design to fit.
